Moe Mustafa
Our alumnus of the year is Moe Mustafa! He is a versatile artist who has studied a Bachelor's Degree in Culture and Arts at TAMK.
By his example, he encourages everyone to use their own voice and tell their story.
When I'm completely honest in my work and don't try to hide anything, I take people with me on that journey, and in some way, the story becomes meaningful to them as well.

How the the Alumni of the Year is selected?
The nomination period is typically during spring. We invite TAMK staff, students, graduates as well as other TAMK symphatizers to put forward their suggestions for the next alumni of the year.
Selection criteria
Alumni of the Year should
- be a graduate from TAMK or PIRAMK (year 1992 or after)
- promote cooperation between TAMK, society and alumni community at large
- be a societal influencer in Finland and/or abroad
- strengthen TAMK’s reputation as a higher education institution
- be a pioneer and multidisciplinary player in working life
TAMK’s alumni committee chooses the alumni of the year and the title holder will be announced in October during the national alumni month of the Finnish universities of applied sciences.
