I am determined to solve challenging robotics problems, build autonomous robots to work for human and with human, and train future robotics engineers to be able to do so. 


Responsible for Robotics major, and international program on Automation Engineering
Member of automation program development group.

Autonomous machines, robotics, AI, optimal control, imitation learning, motion control, optimal trajectory planning, model predictive control, control-estimation integration, construction robotics.

Research topics

Currently: making autonomy easier by learning methods, more generic estimation and control solutions, software tools, and understanding safety for autonomous mobile machines, and MIMO Radars
