Sustainable Welfare Systems is a profiling initiative funded by the Academy of Finland.
The aim of the programme is to:
- Strengthen University’s research profile on health and welfare systems research
- Provide an arena in which all three focal areas of Tampere University (health, society and technology) are integrated producing high scientific quality and policy-relevant research
- Develop new ways of working across disciplinary and organizational boundaries
- Expand beyond the academia by reaching out to the society
- Collaborate with the key stakeholders in the field
