Research Centre Terra Laboratory research of aggregates and asphalt
The research infrastructure of Research Center Terra's asphalt and aggregates laboratory consists of sets of laboratory equipment to be used to measure the properties of infrastructure construction materials by several different test methods. The test methods are used to study the basic properties of infrastructure construction materials, such as grain size or shape, strength properties, deformations, and long-term durability. In addition to natural materials, we study the technical suitability of various recycled materials. Versatile equipment enables the characterization and classification of materials, as well as the production of various test pieces and versatile testing. With the help of our competent laboratory staff, we are also able to develop versatile testing processes for various research entities. Our laboratory is approved by the PANK advisory board and our quality system is evaluated annually by Kiwa Inspecta.
