Research Centre Terra: Geotechnical laboratory research

The research infrastructure of research center Terra's geotechnical laboratory equipment can be used to measure the properties of soil materials and various materials for infrastructure construction using several different testing methods. The methods are used to study the basic and classification properties of earth materials, as well as strength and deformation properties. We also study other physical properties of different soil and recycled materials, such as water permeability and capillarity. With the help of our competent laboratory staff, we are also able to develop versatile testing processes for various research entities. Our laboratory is approved by the PANK Advisory Board  and our quality system is evaluated annually by Kiwa Inspecta.
