Performance is a multidisciplinary research theme group within The Centre for Practise as Research in Theatre (T7), the members of which are interested in various kinds of performances of culture, as public manifestations of culture - from the perspectives of theatre and drama research, music studies or cultural studies in general.
Research focus and goals
The objectives of the research of performance include better understanding of the possibilities of human agency, involvement, and interaction in our globalised and transcultural world, but also, better understanding of the performance as a mode, trace and product of human action.
