OHTO+ Using digital web services to develop guidance processes

The aim of this project is to strengthen the ability of student counsellors, career advisors and other student guidance experts to actively utilize Opintopolku.fi -platform along with other digital guidance and student counselling platforms and services in supporting study planning and guidance processes. Development of the aforementioned readinesses is in connection with developing processes and procedures during both admission and studying phases.

Goal

Project also strengthens the use of the Opintopolku.fi -platform by training all the relevant actors in the area of student counselling, advising and student intake. Best practices on using the digital career guidance services are actively shared within the project partnership network. This enables the project beneficiaries to use different types of digital guidance services in meaningful way and bring user perspective in order to improve usability and services of different digital platforms.

Through project activities different student guidance organizations, communities and individual experts and their clients will be able to utilize the services in an appropriate way. In addition, dialogue between developers and the prospective platform users is enabled so that different actors in student guidance field have the opportunity to bring their own experiences for development of Opintopolku.fi and other online digital career and study guidance services and platforms.
