Machine Dynamics (Machine Design) Group develops physics-based methods to analyze and control the dynamic behavior of mechanical systems. Our research focuses on multibody system dynamics, frictional contact, vibration, and vehicle dynamics.
Research focus and goals
Our current research focus on fusing physical-based dynamic modelling with different sensor technology, such as optical, acoustic and vibration sensors methodology for condition monitoring and asset management for both fleet and infrastructure.
