The GATE project aims to revolutionize entrepreneurship education through a gamified online platform with new methodology and practical materials for students, teachers and professionals.
Goal
GAmification, Teaching & Entrepreneurship (GATE) is an RDI project to develop methodologies, didactics and tools for learning and teaching entrepreneurship in a new way. The GATE project is carried out by higher education institutions from Denmark (PROFESSIONSHOJSKOLEN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE NORDJYLLAND, AALBORG), Belgium (UC LIMBURG, DIEPENBEEK), Germany (HOCHSCHULE DUSSELDORF, DUSSELDORF) and Finland (TAMPERE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES). The project is funded by the EU ERASMUS+ program in the total amount of 400.000 €.
The structure of the project implementation is divided into four phases: 1) development of a gamified online learning methodology, 2) creation of learning materials based on the methodology, 3) development of a prototype of the gamified learning platform, and 4) impact and dissemination. The GATE project aims to revolutionize entrepreneurship education with a gamified online learning platform that integrates best gamification practices to increase student engagement in entrepreneurship.
In collaboration with European partners, the GATE project focuses on creating engaging, practical materials and promoting innovative learning. Targeting students, educators and professionals, the project aims to increase engagement, improve learning outcomes and encourage wider adoption of digital tools in entrepreneurship education. Its long-term goal is to set new standards in entrepreneurship education, contribute to educational excellence and innovation capacity within the European Union, and influence policy and practice more broadly.
