Death of a child is a traumatic event for parents. Coping after a child's traumatic death can have life-long effects and in a severe situation, bereaved parents can develop a mental health condition called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition, a lack of support for bereaved parents can make the situation more difficult for them.
The project is aimed at developing an online bereavement support application to assist bereaved parents throughout their bereavement journey.
