Ville Leinonen

A researcher with a background in statistics and aerosol physics. My recent research topic has been fine particle emissions from passenger cars. Statistical methods and their application to various research questions are also a continuing research interest of mine. I am also involved in the Pirkanmaa Climate Action Lab project (2023-2026), a joint project of the Universities of Helsinki and Tampere. The project aims to develop new solutions and operating models for mitigating and adapting to climate change and combating nature loss in the Pirkanmaa region in cooperation with various actors in the region.
