About me

I am a Project Manager at Tampere University of Applied Sciences and work on transforming construction practices in the interdisciplinary research group Sustainable Futures through Human Interaction and Transformative Learning across Societal Transitions (SHIFT). I work in the fields of circular economy in the built environment and sustainable construction. My research and development work focuses particularly on circular economy solutions for the construction and real estate sectors, reusable building components, and the development of low-carbon and resource-wise operating models.

My research examines how circular economy principles can be integrated into construction industry practices, innovation development and organizational learning processes. I am especially interested in the economic dimensions of the circular economy, mainstreaming the reuse of building components, and the development of operational models and competencies that support the sustainable transition of the construction sector. My work brings together higher education institutions, companies, and public stakeholders with the aim of advancing circular economy innovations, experimentation culture, and the sustainable transformation of the built environment.
