Kalle Pajunen

I am a professor of management and organizations. My research interests relate to strategic management, organization theory, and international business. I also work on questions related to configurational theory and set-theoretic methods as well as historical and longitudinal research. My research has been published in Business History, Business & Society, Human Relations, Innovation: Organization and Management, International Business Review, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of World Business, Organization Studies, Small Business Economics, Socio-Economic Review among others.

 
I also work as a deputy chair of the Scientific Council for Social Sciences and Humanities of the Research Council of Finland. 
I am a principal investigator in Business Finland funded project LuovAmbi (2025-2028).

  
I am currently teaching Strategic Management, Global Strategy and Qualitative Research Methods (doctoral) courses. I also supervise master’s students (Master’s seminar) and engage in doctoral education.
