About me
I work as a mobility specialist in International Mobility Services, where I am responsible for the administration, development and coordination of student mobility programmes. My work supports the internationalisation goals of Tampere University and promotes high-quality exchange opportunities and academic collaboration for students. I am responsible for university-level student exchange agreements and mobility programmes with partner institutions across Australia, North America, Africa and Europe. I also manage two Erasmus+ university-level student exchange agreements and coordinate international exchange programmes, including ISEP and north2north. In addition, I serve as the contact person for the Circumpolar Studies programme and the UArctic network, supporting Tampere University's engagement in international academic partnerships and global networks.
Responsibilities
Development of incoming exchange student services and processes
- Planning and coordinating the Welcome Week for exchange students
- Developing exchange student guidance materials and web content
- Coordinating international exchange student tutoring
- Managing bilateral university-level exchange agreements
- Coordinating Erasmus+ university-level student exchange agreements
- Coordinating the ISEP and north2north exchange programmes
- Coordinating Circumpolar Studies and UArctic collaboration
