About me
My research interests include academic research careers, research funding and its impact on academic careers, and academic work from the viewpoint of more sustainable research culture. Earlier, I have worked in a research funding organisation as an expert in R&D statistics, science indicators, contemporary science policy topics, and research evaluation.
Responsibilities
My ongoing doctoral research project is about success in academic research careers. The data consists of interviews with researchers who received an ERC Starting Grant in universities in Finland. I am also interested in how universities can support success from a perspective of higher education research. My doctoral research is linked to the project Good News from Academia – Cultivating Sustainable Discourses on Academic Work (PI Reetta Muhonen).
