About me
My research has focused on transnational learning spaces, migrants' informal learning at workplaces, in relation to families and more broadly in societies as well as internationalization of higher education and pedagogical conceptions of academics. Currently, I am conducting research on university students' conceptions concerning learning, teaching and knowledge.
I teach, for example, courses related to pedagogical studies in adult education (in Finnish) and in advanced theme studies in education Socio-cultural diversity and transnational perspectives -course (in English) in Spring semester 2023. I also supervise bachelor, master and doctoral theses in education.
