Alumni of the Year 2023
Antti Kalliomäki
The alumnus of the year 2023 is electronic building technology expert Antti Kalliomäki. He works at WSP Finland and acts as a mentor in TAMK's international projects.
For Kalliomäki, alumni activities mean pride in one's own university. He sees that promoting the educational institution helps to maintain the quality of teaching.
- As we praise TAMK outside the campus, the future students will be able to demand that the quality of the teaching is as good as they have heard.

Selecting the Alumni of the Year
This year the nomination period is 2.-30.4.2024. TAMK staff, students and graduates as well as other TAMK symphatizers may suggest the next alumni of the year.
Selection criteria
You may suggest a person who has
- graduated from TAMK or PIRAMK in 1992 or after
- promoted cooperation between TAMK, society and alumni community at large
- been a societal influencer in Finland and/or abroad
- strengthened TAMK’s reputation
- been a pioneer and multidisciplinary player in working life
TAMK’s alumni committee appoints the alumni of the year and the title holder will be announced in October, which is the national alumni month in the Finnish universities of applied sciences. TAMK will organize many kinds of alumni activities in October.
