EURAXESS
EURAXESS – Researchers in Motion is a unique European-wide initiative, supported by the European Union and its member states, which provides information and services for researchers. The initiative nurtures the mobility and career development of researchers and promotes scientific cooperation in Europe and beyond.
Tampere University is the current bridgehead organisation (BHO) for EURAXESS Finland and home to one of Finland’s 13 EURAXESS Centres. One of the most important tasks of the Centre is to help foreign researchers moving to Finland in matters related to relocating and working in Finland.
In total, there are over 600 EURAXESS Centres in different countries. Through the Euraxess network, researchers can also explore research funding opportunities as well as find jobs or partners for their research projects. EURAXESS Jobs provides information on thousands of jobs in more than 40 countries.
