Welcome to the Spaces of Confinement Symposium on December 2, 2022 (Attila Auditorium, Yliopistonkatu 38, Tampere).
The symposium introduces the results of the research project “Spaces of confinement in the institutions of care and control in Finland”, funded by the Academy of Finland. The presentations and the panel discussion concern e.g. elderly housing and care, and psychiatric institutions as places of control and care. The speakers of the symposium include the project researchers and the leading scholars of the topic.
