The exhibition in Finnish Labour Museum Werstas provides historical insights with contemporary relevance into the diverse spaces and times of childhood under socialist regimes in Europe and beyond.

The exhibition is based on the on-going research project Re-Connect / Re-Collect: Crossing the Divides through Memories of Cold War Childhoods conducted by Professor Zsuzsa Millei (Tampere University, EDU), Associate Professor Nelli Piattoeva (Tampere University, EDU) and Professor Iveta Silova (Arizona State University) and funded by Kone Foundation. The exhibition is realized in a collaboration with the Finnish Labour Museum (Työväenmuseo Werstas), and Tampere University teacher education students.

The online opening of the exhibition is organised on Thursday the 25th of February 2021, 6pm–7.15pm (EET UTC +2). The event is free of charge for all. The language of the event is English.
