New e-resources for history research
Routledge Resources Online – Medieval Studies is a reference work database, containing a diverse range of peer-reviewed articles, covering geographic and thematic areas across the medieval period. Topics include culture; identities; religion; powers; environment, production, and exchange; Islamic history and culture; and Jewish civilization, as well as an emphasis on writing history and methodology. There are also Finnish authors involved. The resource has been purchased for permanent use.
Lexikon des Mittelalters and its complementary reference work “International Encyclopaedia for the Middle Ages” will be in trial use in 2024. These resources cover several themes and periods of Medieval studies in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa as well.
Also the Bibliography of British and Irish History (BBIH) will be in trial use in 2024. It provides bibliographic information on histories of the British Isles, the British Empire, and the Commonwealth from 55 BC to the present day.
You will find these resources via the A-Z databases list and Andor search service. In particular we hope to receive feedback on the trial resources.
