Kirsi Henriksson talks on theme “Why to study French-Algerian common history? French Socialists and Colonized Algeria from Popular Front to the Liberation War”

During last two decades Kirsi Henriksson has had important international positions in very difficult contexts. She has served as a member of the EU delegations in Bagdad and in Libya when both countries suffered from civil war. Later she has acted as deputy director and director of EU crisis management operations first in Bamako, Mali, and then in Niamey, Niger. Today Kirsi Henriksson is the director of CMC, Crisis Management Centre in Helsinki. She is a former TAPRI Research Fellow, especially in “TAPRI Mediterranean Study Project”.
