Foundations award 37 doctoral dissertation authors

The University of Tampere Foundation and the Industrial Research Fund at Tampere University of Technology have granted prizes to authors whose dissertations were given the grade approved with distinction. The prize sum is 1.500€ and it was conferred to 37 people.

The Foundations unveiled the recipients on 4 September, the day the University celebrated the opening of the new academic year. 

The City of Tampere’s Research Grant Committee also conferred prizes to three dissertation authors. The recipients were D.Sc. (Technology) Cesar Pereida Garcia, PhD Íris Santos and Doctor of Medicine Antti Pemmari.
