Basics of Open Access publishing -training on Monday 29.9.2025 at 13.00–14.30

The training session organized by the library covers topics such as different ways of making your publications openly available and sharing them, how to choose a reliable publication channel, and what you need to know about article processing charges. We will also discuss self-archiving and there will be time for your questions about open access. 

After the training:

• You will understand the different ways of Open Access publishing
• You will know the key factors in choosing a publication channel, such as the reliability of the channel, funder’s requirements, etc.
• You will understand the importance of copyright and licenses
• You will recognize the different ways of using the article versions created during the publication process
• You will find additional instructions and know where to ask for help if needed 

The training will be provided by the library's Open Access specialists. The training takes place in Teams and is not recorded.
