Mila Bujic

Hi, I’m Mila, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Research Centre of Gameful Realities at Tampere University. My interest is in how media and media technologies increasingly embody engagement-oriented media logics, emphasising enmeshment, personalisation, and interactivity, together marking the experiential turn in media. 

I explore this complex area through the necessary dissolution of disciplinary boundaries at the intersection of media and communication, human-computer interaction, and anticipatory futures research. My multidisciplinary background, along with the breadth of methodological expertise, allows me to integrate these traditions into a unique transdisciplinary perspective. My toolkit primarily includes laboratory experiments, anticipatory and speculative futures research methods, and surveys.

I have published in top-tier venues such as New Media & Society, Internet Research, and International Journal of Human-Computer Studies.
