Janne Ruohonen

About me

Dr. Janne Ruohonen is Associate Professor of Business Law (tenure track) and Director of Master's Program on Auditing. He is Adjunct Professor (docent) in company law at the University of Turku. Dr. Ruohonen's research interest is focused on business law, especially company law and audit law. He is specialised in company directors, municipally owned companies (MOCs) and sustainability reporting of companies (EU). His doctoral thesis dealt with limited liability company's profit distribution and solvency test. He has also written articles about companies' auditing. Ruohonen also actively gives lectures about business law (in English / in Finnish). He's a member of editorial board of European Company Case Law (ECCL). He is member of Law and Tax Committee of Tampere Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2015-).
