Hanna Vuorenpää

I am a cell biologist working as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Adult Stem Cell Group. Our group is part of Centre of Excellence in Body-on-a-Chip Research (CoEBoC) focusing on development of novel Organ-on-Chip platforms to study systemic effects of human body and to replace animal experiments. Currently, I am implementing perfusable vasculature in cardiac and adipose tissue models to study obesity, hypoxia and its systemic effects. I have expertise in quality management systems including validation of in vitro models in GLP and GMP laboratory work in pharmaceutical industry.
