Chiara Fedele

I work in Tampere University’s Research and Innovation unit as a Grant Coach in the Preaward team. I primarily support Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) (Pillar 1) and EIC Pathfinder (Pillar 3).

I am a materials engineer by training (University of Naples “Federico II”) and my doctoral research at the Italian Institute of Technology focused on materials biointerfaces for health applications.

Previously, I worked as a Senior Research Fellow in the Smart Photonics Materials (SPM) group, in close collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology. My research focused on light‑responsive materials to study and control cell functions in dynamic environments.
