The course unit explores the structure of the Finnish language and editing from the point of view of translation. The focus areas of the course include the grammatical description of the Finnish language's concepts and terms, and the principles and norms of editing. The course unit explores the meanings and use of the structures of Finnish in spoken and written language. In addition, the connection between structures and text genres and nuances are examined. During the course, the student will reflect on the responsibility of translators as developers of the Finnish language.
