Work, Environment, and Health, 5 op

Work can both promote and undermine health. This course introduces the changing patterns of working life and various aspects of sustainable work career and work ability in relation to demographic change. The course will also introduce theories on work stress, ergonomics, and various work environment in relation to health and safety, and health promotion program at work to promote health and productivity. The course will also introduce occupational and work-related diseases, basic methodologies used in the occupational burden of diseases and injuries, environmental risk assessment methods, epidemiological concepts in research in occupational health.
