The course consists of an introduction lecture and six online modules:
- Module 1: National and international research funding landscape
- Module 2: Basic structure and terminology of a grant application
- Module 3: Excellence: motivation, state-of-the-art, objectives, methodology
- Module 4: Implementation: work plan and schedule
- Module 5: Impact: medium and long-term effects of your research
- Module 6: Cross-cutting issues: open science and sustainable research
Additionally, participants who enroll for the 2 ECTS course, will work on the following topics during small group meetings and in form of pre-assignments:
- Proposal visualization
- My applications
- Abstracts
Modes of study:
There are two possibilities in studying this course:
- Option 1: Online course (materials and exercises in Moodle and Teams), together with 2,5 hours introduction lecture (1 ECTS)
- Option 2: Online course (materials and exercises in Moodle and Teams), together with 2,5 hours introduction lecture and 6 hours of small group teaching (incl. pre-assignments) (2 ECTS)
