Oma esittely

Ville Paananen is a postdoctoral researcher at Tampere University, currently working in the RAID (Responsible AI in Design) project. He holds a doctorate in computer science from the University of Oulu, where his dissertation, Spatial Empathy: Digitally Bridging Human Experience, examined the experience of space and social interaction in computing. Alongside his education in computer science, he holds a degree in architecture. His published work spans human-scale spatial experience, generative AI in creative and architectural design, and empathy in extended reality.

His current research examines how designers work responsibly with AI. He is part of the Human-Centered Technology (IHTE) research group, situated within the Tampere University Computer-Human Interaction (TAUCHI) Research Center.
