Oma esittely
Väittelin Turun yliopiston maantieteen oppiaineesta vuonna 2018, jonka jälkeen olen toiminut apulaisprofessorina Agderin yliopiston Global Development and Planning -laitoksella. Väitöskirjani käsitteli luovuuden tilallisuutta yhdistelemällä maantieteellistä maisemakirjallisuutta, taidetta ja tapahtuman filosofiaa. Tämänhetkinen tutkimukseni tarkastelee asumiseen liityvän prekariuuden arkipäiväisiä kokemuksia. Viime vuosina olen kehittänyt kattourbanismin käsitteen ja tutkinut tätä aihepiiriä myös empiirisesti. Lisäksi olen tutkinut tekoälyn ja taiteen yhteisluovuutta, arkipäivän liikkuvuutta taiteilijoiden ja yksin maahan saapuneiden turvapaikanhakijoiden näkökulmasta sekä julkisen tilan suunnittelua ihmisen ja ihmisen ylittävänä tapahtumana.
Työtehtävät
Toimin tällä hetkellä tutkijatohtorina Suomen Akatemian rahoittamassa hankkeessa (johtaja Päivi Kymäläinen) "Housing Precarity - HOPE".
