Lassi Paunonen

I am a Professor in Mathematics and the leader of the Systems Theory Research Group.
My research focuses on Functional analysis, Mathematical systems theory, and Analysis of partial differential equations.

• Chair of the IEEE CSS Technical Committee on Distributed Parameter Systems (since 2023-2025).
• Associate Editor at the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control (since 2023-2026).

• Stability and control of dynamical systems, especially phenomena described by linear and nonlinear partial differential equations.
• Functional analysis, operator theory, and analysis of abstract differential equations.
