About me
I am a tenure track professor at Tampere University, Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences, where I lead the Power Electronics research group. My research focuses on modeling, control, and system-level interactions of power electronic systems, particularly in grid-connected applications and battery energy storage systems.
My core expertise lies in impedance-based analysis and diagnostics, enabling the identification of dynamic behavior, stability assessment, and the development of advanced control methods. I also work on battery diagnostics and related real-time measurement and modeling approaches.
I collaborate closely with academic and industrial partners to develop reliable and scalable solutions for future energy systems. My work combines theoretical modeling, experimental validation, and hardware-level implementation (e.g., HIL environments).
