The aim of the project “Multilingual and Multicultural Learning Space for the Well-Being of Seniors from Remote Areas in the Pandemic Crisis” ( 08.2021 - 07.2024) is to design and implement the support programme for seniors for building multilingual and multicultural learning space for adults (seniors) to promote their well-being providing new agenda for handling the issue of aging in the 21st century.
The vision of the project is to "build a society for all ages" by developing a framework for a multilingual and multicultural learning space for seniors from remote areas, thus linking aging issues to sustainable social and economic development and human rights. Such priority areas as older people and digital skills, well-being in old age, a favourable and supportive environment for lifelong learning, and moreover, the unprecedented situation, rooted in the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to a crisis and hopefully a post-crisis period that can take quite a long time for seniors, justifies the urgency and topicality of the measures proposed in this project.
Products to be developed in the project: the methodology for the implementation of the needs analysis for the development of digital skills of seniors; needs analysis narratives; a contextually relevant support programme for seniors from remote areas with the support of the main strategic partners (and other stakeholders) for providing a mutual learning environment for seniors (both e-environment/platform and methodological materials to be replicated in different contexts).
