Imaginaries of ethical science (IMAGES)

The life sciences are under increasing pressure. The EU has tightened its regulations concerning animal experimentation, and new research methods are challenging existing practices that rely on the use of laboratory animals. The IMAGES research project examines the practices, perceptions, and imaginaries of different actors (e.g., scientists, experts) regarding ethical science, both now and in the future, in the context of animal experiments and emerging new research methods.
