FANTASCRIT examines how the contradictions of the green transition and the geopoliticization of critical raw materials generate fantasies that legitimize the expansion of mining despite its ecological and social costs. Drawing on ideology critique and feminist political economy, the project seeks to open space for imagining and advancing more just transitions beyond fossil capitalism.
