Library’s ORCID trainings in autumn 2026

ORCID, which stands for Open Researcher and Contributor ID, is a free, unique, persistent identifier for individuals to use as they engage in research, scholarship, and innovation activities.
Use the ORCID researcher identifier in:
TUNICRIS research information system and in all your academic activities,
Researcher profile tool in Research.fi service.
The open science policies in our community recommend that researchers and RDI actors obtain an ORCID identifier and use it in all their academic activities. (See policies of TAU and TAMK on the Open science and research website.)
Join our ORCID workshop on 6 October at 9.15–9.45
See personnel trainings (requires login) for further details and a direct link to the online event.
The training is also held in Finnish in September and November. All sessions have the same content.
