The Games As Art Festival is a three-day festival happening in Tampere, Finland October 9th-11th 2026 exploring the potential of games as an artistic form. This is a research collaboration between ITC faculty at Tampere University, the games research lab, and Näty. We have over 50 games from game makers from over 20 different countries that have been accepted to be shown in the festival!
All games will be playable throughout the festival.

Where: Tampere University- Paidia (3rd Floor Nokia Arena), and Näty Theater School. See a map between the two spaces.
What: Artistic games of all media (focusing on larp and video games as a starting point.) Preliminary Festival Program is OUT NOW.
