The theme of the ECER 2026 conference is “Knowing and Acting: The changing conditions and potentials of education research.”
The European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) is a major international conference on educational research, held in Tampere on 17–21 August 2026. The conference brings together researchers from different countries to discuss the latest research and to network internationally. Up to 3,000 participants from more than 70 countries are expected to attend.
