RIME
We study information practices, such as information seeking, sharing, avoidance, and preservation, as well as information literacies. Our research focuses include the internet, social media, different forms of reading, educational technology, and interaction in virtual environments.

InfUSE
We study information interaction and information use. We examine phenomena related to information retrieval, interactive information retrieval, and information use. We are particularly interested in the current information environment and its changes, and in how these changes affect people’s activities and task performance.

DILEWO – Digitalisation and Media in Learning, Work, and Participation
The mission of our multidisciplinary research group is to deepen understanding of the phenomena and practices of an increasingly digitalised and mediatized society and to evaluate them critically. We produce research-based knowledge about the changing digital landscape in work, education, and civic participation, and about how these changes affect people at the individual level.
