About me

I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Information technology and Communication Sciences, Tampere University, Finland. Aiming to create a true ‘museum without walls’, I am exploring virtual spaces, ‘Artivism’ and accessibility of protest spaces. I am also combining different paradigms in design research and dabbling with design anthropology and UX.

Before academia, I have worked for 20 years with leading Indian media establishments such as Indian Express, Times of India, Asia’s largest circulating newspaper, and Hindustan Times. I have also worked with The Telegraph (Ananda Bazaar Patrika group), media giants of Eastern India and The Statesman, which is known as one of the oldest newspaper in India.

My work has been multi-platform and before I joined the Newspaper industry, I was trying my hands at advertising. During my stint in various media organizations, I have had the opportunity to understand how design differs from page to page and subject to subject and yet designing in such a way that various tastes blend into a single platter.
