Course completion at Open University
There are two options to attend the course in English during the academic year 2025-2026: Self-study module (including exam) in autumn 2025 and Lectures in spring 2026 (participation in teaching, exercises and exam). This course belongs to the SEFI 2 level of engineering mathematics.
The course includes an electronic Exam. The student takes the exam at a time of their choosing in the EXAM facilities. Please familiarize yourself with the instructions for taking the Exam.
Required prior knowledge
Compulsory prerequisites: High school mathematics or equivalent. Recommended prerequisites (any of these or equivalent): MATH.APP.111 Introductory Calculus OR MATH.APP.160 Differential and Integral Calculus OR DATA.STAT.110 Introduction to Statistics. Please ensure that you have completed the required prerequisites before registering! By registering, you agree to comply with the requirements and, upon request, you can present a transcript of records showing the completion of the required prerequisites.
