Course completion at Open University
The course is organized in the spring semester as hybrid teaching and can be completed as a 5 ECTS course or a 10 ECTS course. Students receive 5 ECTS for completing core modules and practical labs, with an optional additional 5 ECTS for an in-depth project focused on applying trustworthiness principles in LLM fine-tuning, totaling 10 ECTS.
Course structure: Features lectures on theory, practical labs, a capstone project, and dedicated sessions on trustworthiness and ethics in AI. The course aims to blend technical skills with ethical considerations.
Students must have at minimum basic programming knowledge, preferably in Python.
Required prior knowledge
Mandatory: COMP.CS.100 Programming 1: Introduction to Programming or similar knowledge. Recommended: DATA.100 Introduction to Data Analysis. Please ensure that you have completed the required prerequisites before registering! By registering, you agree to comply with the requirements and, upon request, you can present a transcript of records showing the completion of the required prerequisites.
