<p>After passing the course, the student is able to:</p><ul><li>Describe the overall picture of environmental engineering and create links between different topics.</li><li>Explain how environmental engineering advances sustainable development.</li><li>Explain the purpose and function of key unit processes and systems in environmental engineering and solve typical illustrative calculations.</li><li>Apply the learned knowledge of environmental engineering and search for more information outside of the course materials if needed.</li><li>Use correct terminology. </li></ul><p>
