The TOVI research group is interested in language teaching and learning. In particular, the focus is on foreign languages taught at school and Swedish as a second official language in Finland. The research group includes researchers and teachers from various fields and faculties at Tampere University and other educational institutions. The group's research topics are related to language education and language didactics, language education policies and language learning.
