Promoting circularity and sustainability for the construction and real estate sector (CircBuild) is a two year project that starts in January 2025. It is co-partnered by Tampere University and Häme University of Applied Sciences HAMK.

Goal

The project, in cooperation with the Finnish real estate and construction
industry, implements a number of pilots in which new circular economy solutions and methods are tested. In addition to the pilots, the project includes workshop and seminar cooperation with companies.

International cooperation is supported by the European Consortium of Innovative Universities. The final seminar of the project will be held at the ECIU consortium's headquarters in Brussels.

Funding source

The project is funded by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Etelä-Savo and co-funded by the European Union.
