Popular feminism in a Nordic welfare state: New spirit of capitalism and popularization of protests (POPFEM)

The project explores the popularisation of feminism in Finland in the 2020s. Popularisation refers to the emergence of feminism in a consumerist, aestheticised, pleasure-seeking and joyful form. We ask how popular feminism reflects and shapes cultural, economic and political relations, as well as wider changes in social movements.
