ITE - Interactive Technology in Education

Interactive Technology in Education (ITE) -conference is the largest conference in Finland related to information and communication technology in educational use. The conference started in 1990.  

The ITE conference brings together the forerunners of educational development. It is a venue and a showroom for sharing and showcasing new educational ideas, methods and research findings. ITE offers a wide view into Finnish education, learning and educational technology.  

The ITE conference participants are selected by a process where abstracts are sent, evaluated, and chosen to be presented in the program. The panel includes professionals from the Finnish Academy, Aalto University, Otavan Opisto, Suomen Luokanopettajat ry, OAJ, MAOL, Helsinki University, Business Finland, and Satakunta UAS.

Background

Every year around 70 researchers and developers in the field of information and communication technology in educational use gather together at ITE Researcher Meeting to discuss the newest developments in the field.
